Mattie's friend Sylvie came over to play while their daddys played golf...
After playing inside for awhile, we went to the park to ride the swings and play in the sand...
Then we came back to the house and played inside some more... Mattie and Sylvie loved sitting on Nadine's lap and cheesing for the camera... it was so much fun that Mattie stayed awake for the ENTIRE afternoon/evening! Who needs to nap when there are friends to play with?!Apparently Mattie rediscovered her "dinosaur" voice... she has been screaching all morning!
Happy Easter! We had a great day of going to our new church, a satellite campus of Saddleback that opened up in Irvine, then we went to the park to hang out with our extended family...
Mattie promptly stole an egg out of Audrey's basket while Audrey posed for the group photo, what a little stinker! Our munchkin must be getting another tooth, she is putting EVERYTHING in her mouth, every chance she gets! Also, notice she is the only one standing in the photo... now that she is learning to walk, she does not want to sit down, unless it's to eat some grass...
Mattie's first Easter egg hunt! Greentree park on the Saturday before Easter...
Mattie would rather eat the (nonedible) eggs than put them in the basket to collect more...
And she eats them fast so Tatum can't try to steal them! 
Mattie celebrates her first Persian New Year on March 19th with all of her Persian relatives in Irvine.
Reunited at last! It has been two months since cousins have seen each other, so we had to make a trip to AZ to catch up for a long weekend.... The girls (little and big) had a great time bonding the whole time, whether it be playing in the house...
Playing at the park... where Mattie reminded us all quite a few times that she "is the big winner".....
And playing at the zoo... where the girls got to see lots of fun animals, including a monkey exhibit, where we actually went into the "space" where the monkeys live...
