On this first day of July, Mattie and Mama went to storytime and the park in the morning... then we melted, so we decided to go over to grandma and grandpa's house so they would take us to the pool... Grandpa can't get Mattie out of that stroller fast enough, she is sooo eager to jump right in the pool... even though she doesn't know how to swim yet!
Mattie shows off her walking in the water skills here. She tips over far less than she did just a week ago... and even when she does go under, she doesn't seem to be too startled, just frustrated that her hair got wet :)
After bugging grandma all afternoon, we headed over to Tatum's for an afternoon playdate... where Mattie proceeded to steal the snack cup right out of Tatum's hand, but then she hand fed her the very snack she had stole! The looks here say it all...

come on Jenny, its not that hot! At least we dont live in ARIZONA - thats hot.... ;) Aubrey loves swimming too - you will have to come swim with us one morning soon - we have lots of baby pools over here.
