Irvine Park never fails to be a fun place to spend the afternoon! We rode the train... again...
And Mattie got to touch a real, live horse for the first time! Then we walked around and Mattie "ruff ruffed" to all the horses, dogs, and ducks we saw... Time to learn some new animal sounds Miss Mattie!
This has to be one of the funniest things I have ever seen...On Saturday Mattie kept throwing her food on the floor, she wasn't really into eating it for whatever reason... Her BFF Tatum decided to pick it up off the floor and offer it to her and what do ya know, Mattie gobbled it right up out of Tatum's hand, like she was animal being fed at the petting zoo! I couldn't get a pic of the actual occurence, but here Mattie is grabbing Tatum's hand hoping for more veggies and black beans ;)
And on Sunday, Mattie showed us her new talent... balancing two balls at once... she carried these balls all around and when they would fall, she would find a way once more to hold them both again, using just about her whole body and face ;)

What an eventful day! Mattie's favorite part of the day was playing on the big kid playground, luckily, Calista was there to show her the ropes and play big sis to her....
Here she eagerly awaits her own personal birthday cake that grandma made for her, while we all sing the birthday song...
Then she digs in... actually she tryed to shove the whole thing in her mouth... apparently she has a sweet tooth like her mommy and daddy...
As the party wraps up and everyone is leaving, Mattie is still rearing to go... The energy must have come from the cake that grandma kept feeding her after mommy got her all cleaned up and took away the sugar :)
Grandma and Grandpa took us to Irvine Park to see the animals and ride the train! We really liked the friendly goat who is trying out for America's Next Top Model ;)
Then we decided to play in the bath together because Ryan was tired of being called "stinky mcstinkerson"... and of course the parents had to take pictures of us in the buff! Aren't we so stinkin' cute?!
